About State Of Being Photography

I have always enjoyed taking pictures. It started with a flip phone well over a decade ago.  Fast forward many years later, I was at a friend / photographer's house when he saw a picture I had taken. He asked me to send him all of the pictures I have so he could critique them. Confused yet intrigued, I sent him all of the pictures I had ever taken. What happened next changed my life. He had called me the next day and said to me "You need to buy a real camera, you seriously have an eye for photography." I was in a good position financially so, I bought my first "real" camera. From that day forward, I have found an appreciation for the art behind taking pictures of nature, but that wasn't enough. So I have continued to fine tune my craft with the intention of making it so peoples' memories would never fade.
